CANVASES

Canvases are mostly oil and they represent an earlier artistic path, abandoned at first, but resumed in a more systematic way in relatively recent times. These works arise from my need of freely express myself, without being bound to the text, taking the time, all the time I need, to work with light and colors. The perspective space and the subjects repeat sometimes the funny themes from the paper paintings. Some other time, inspiration rather plays with personal memories and myth, with metaphysics and affects, with grotesque and emotions.
